Win a trip of a lifetime - into space!
Voyage2Space are proud to announce the launch of a pay to play competition in the UK - the prize is a trip into space with Virgin Galactic worth £107,000.
The pay to play concept, similar to a raffle has been around for quite some time, particularly in busy airports, usually with a prize such as a sports car.
Recently this concept has been expanded to properties, for example the £1m Oldborough Retreat competition recently featured in The Daily Mail and on BBC Breakfast.
The Voyage2Space.com concept is somewhat similar, each entrant pays £10 to enter the competition with the winner scheduled to be announced in early 2009.
"We would like to give someone the opportunity to experience the earth from orbit - to many people it's an ambition which so few will ever manage to achieve. We believe the prize is perfectly suited to the pay to play concept," said Julia Shaw, Voyage2Space.com
Prior to the launch of Virgin Galactic in 2005, a private trip to space used to cost in the region of £20m. Virgin are charging £107,000 which is significantly less, however still far too expensive for the majority of the public.
The eventual winner will be among the first Britons to experience space - at no cost.
