And Finally... Pudsey Bear refused a passport
A woman who changed her name to Pudsey Bear for a charity appeal has been refused a new passport.
The receptionist, 37, switched from Eileen De Bont by deed poll to raise £4,000 for Children in Need.
Bank and credit cards say the divorced mum-of-two is "Mrs P Bear" and that name is on her driving licence. She is also taxed as Pudsey Bear.
But Identity and Passport Service officials said it was "frivolous" and would bring them "into disrepute".
Pudsey said yesterday: "My passport expired and they told me they would issue me one only as Eileen De Bont.
"But that's not my name. I'm going to have trouble checking into hotels, hiring cars and changing money." She asked locals in her home town Prestatyn, Denbigh, to suggest a new name to adopt as a fundraiser.
Pudsey Bear came top, beating Vauxhall Frontera and Scunthorpe Travelodge.
