And Finally... Man backs 7 winners in 6 races at Chester Racecourse
A CITY centre store owner enjoyed tremendous luck during his day at the Chester races.
Will Pinnington, owner of the Shop @ Panasonic store on the Bridge Street Rows, backed an astonishing seven winners in last Friday's six races.
The feat was made possible after Will backed two horses for each event during the day.
After managing to rack up five wins from five races, Will placed a bet on two horses - Empowered and Red Merlin - for the final event.
He was astonished to discover the two horses cross the line in a dead heat, so both were classified as winners.
Will, who won about £250 from the day, said: "I don't usually go to the races, it is more of a hobby for me.
"I was placing £10 on one horse and £5 on another and stuck to that formula for the seven races."
Will had gone to the races to celebrate his store's buoyant trade.
