And Finally...Five-day hunt for missing prisoner who was in jail all the time
A woman thought to have broken out of jail gave herself up after hiding INSIDE the prison for five days.
Warders discovered Aishatu Ishaku was missing during a routine headcount and immediately locked all inmates in their cells.
The jail was repeatedly searched by officers with sniffer dogs and a police helicopter launched to check the area surrounding North London's Holloway Prison.
When no trace of her was found, the prison assumed she had escaped and warned police to be on the lookout for Ishaku, on remand awaiting a fraud trail. But on Wednesday she gave herself up after emerging from hiding in the prison's education block.
She told warders she was found by a sniffer dog but it just licked her face and wandered off. She surrendered because she had not eaten for five days. A jail source said: "It's been very embarrassing."
A Prison Service spokesman added: "A prisoner believed to have escaped from Holloway was discovered in the jail on Wednesday."
