Amanda Weston is desperate to get rid of hiccups - after enduring them for SIX years.
Cleaner Amanda, 41, has painful 20-minute bursts of hiccups at the same times, six times a day - which adds up to 730 hours each year.
Amanda, of Hull, said: "I have no idea what started it all off. It went on for a week and then a month- it was relentless, but my GP said there was nothing he could do, unless they were 24 hours a day.
"He said it was very rare but unless I was hiccupping in my sleep I'd have to put up with it.
"It's like a routine. The hiccups get on my nerves, but at least everyone knows who I am.
"I just want someone to find out what is causing it and, hopefully, cure me."

A single 330ml bottle of Tokyo* contains six units of alcohol, which is twice the recommended daily limit.
It's made by Aberdeenshire-based BrewDog, which sparked controversy last year when it launched a 12% beer, Tokyo. Founder James Watt said: "Our beers are loaded with flavour, bite and body so you drink less of them. They are a cure to binge drinking."
But Jack Law, of Alcohol Focus Scotland, said: "This is utterly irresponsible."
