And Finally...Man finds piece of glass in chin 30 years after car crash

By James Shepherd on Jul 17, 09 02:27 PM in News

A man was stunned when a shard of glass popped out his chin after getting lodged there in a car crash 30 years ago.

Thomas Entwistle was 22 when he was thrown through the windscreen of a Ford Cortina in a head-on smash.

"I'm going to put it on my lottery ticket to see if it brings me any luck on Saturday."

He always thought the small bump on his face was a harmless cyst. But when he cut himself shaving recently, a 1cm lump of glass fell out.

Thomas, 52, from Halliwell, Bolton, said: "It's amazing to think it's been lodged in my face for the last 30 years.
