And Finally... Scotland to be the next best wine-growing region
A rise in global temperature of just six degrees will wipe out France's vineyards while making the Scottish Highlands a prime wine growing area, a report warned today.
Experts say if global warming continues unchecked, pinot noir and chardonnay grapes will even die out - and wine growers in Burgundy are already struggling.
Robin Oakley, of Greenpeace, said: "Climate change could see the vineyards of France shift to Scotland - and it's difficult to believe a Chateau Macdonald will be as popular as a fine Burgundy."
