And Finally...Fugitive lived by police station
A fugitive who was on the run for 11 years lived opposite a police station for most of the time.
David Mulligan, 27, was due to be sentenced for assault when he absconded at 16. He finally handed himself in at the nearby police station in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear.
Mulligan got a suspended sentence yesterday at Newcastle crown court.
