And Finally...Miserable Santa Claus gets sacked

A surly Santa has been sacked after sulking "like Victor Meldrew" during a festive lights switch-on.

Richard Cowell, 34, sat texting on his sleigh, ignoring youngsters and leaving some in tears.

He apologised for his performance at Evesham, Worcs, explaining: "I felt awkward with everyone staring at me."
