And Finally...Refund of speeding tickets in North Wales
HUNDREDS of speeding tickets handed to motorists "caught" driving at over 30mph are being refunded - after it emerged the speed limit was 40mph.
Cops have been cracking down on drivers on the B4391 at Bala since March 1, thinking the speed limit was 30mph.
But a legal blunder meant the actual speed limit on an 830 metre stretch of the road was 40mph. Yesterday cops admitted it meant 300 fines, worth a total £18,000, are invalid.
