Christmas Day in most families dissolves into squabbles by mid-morning, says a survey.
Tired, hyper children get on their parents nerves, and adults have tucked into the booze by 11.49am.
Further tiffs erupt as mums and dads tidy the house and bicker over what to watch on telly.
The strain of cooking Christmas dinner means it's finally served at 3.24pm, with 85% having turkey and trimmings, found the poll of 4,100 for Jarlsberg cheese. A spokesman said: "After all the early stresses, it's great to see that food round a table with the family is still described as the best bit of the day."
The study also revealed 13% always go to church on Christmas day, while 27% watch the Queen's Speech with their family.
And 38% said time with the family as the best thing about Christmas Day.
Patterned Christmas jumpers emerged as the worst present to receive under the tree, followed by a dustpan... and socks.
The UK, Germany and Norway were named the most festive countries.
