Nasa is selling three of its most famous space shuttles - at a 30% discount.
The agency planned to offload Atlantis, Discovery and Endeavour, with 86 missions between them, for £27million each when they are retired later this year.
But it has now cut the price to £17million. Around 20 buyers showed interest when they were first put on the market just over a year ago.
Spokesman Mike Curie said: "We're confident we'll get other takers." Nasa expects science organisations, schools and museums to bid.
