And Finally... Driver racks up monster parking fine
A STUDENT in Dubai who notched up a string of parking penalties has finally been caught by police, owing nearly £62,000 ($97,000) in unpaid fines.
The man, who police have not identified, had managed to escape their clutches for two years while he continued incurring the fines. He has also had his 4x4 car seized, the Gulf News reported.
The offender has been told he must repay $69,754 immediately, with another $27,247 on top of that if he wants his car back.
