And Finally... Grey squirrels finally win acceptance
Grey squirrels, which originally came from America, are now so widespread throughout Britain that a scientific report has suggested granting them 'ecological citizenship'.
Does that mean we have to stop trying to exterminate them? Who's going to tell Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall that he's technically eating a British citizen?
Still, I suppose it's nice that we're now accepting them as our own. It would be nice if the feeling of acceptance was a little more widespread, though, maybe wide enough to reach Adelaide, Australia, where a restaurant barred a blind man because they suspected his guide dog was gay.
Thankfully, you'll be glad to know, the poor bloke was given compensation.
