In a lifetime, loved-up Brits will spend a total of 49 days, 13 hours and 41 minutes making love.
Researchers totted up how often 1,800 sexually active people got passionate.
They found the average sexual mileage for men is 52 days and eight minutes, while for women it is 47 days, three hours and 36 minutes.
On average a steamy session between the sheets lasts for 19.5 minutes - although 10% said they kept their motor running for over 30 minutes, while 10% ran out of gas within five.
Big differences were also found in the number of times we get passionate, with 12% saying it's only once a month or less and 16% at it 10 times a month.
For Londoners sex tends to be over quickest, 17.4 minutes, while it lasts longest for the Scots, 20.3 minutes.
Clare Kerr, of Lloyds Pharmacy's online doctor service, which did the research, said: "The figures show a wide variation - with the least sexually active having a day and a quarter of lifetime sexual activity and the most active clocking up over 170 days." She added: "It's important people confront sexual health issues to enjoy sex while remaining healthy and fulfilled."
