Treading the boards has always appealed to Women's Institute (WI) members.
The movement has been renowned during the years for its drama productions and this picture from the Clwyd-Flint WI archives captures the flavour of members who appeared in period pieces.
The photo shows members of Gwernaffield WI on stage and was probably taken in the late 1950s or early 1960s.
