Tilstock Memories: Snowfall in the 1960s
MIDWINTER in the mid 1960s saw some dramatic snowfalls in North Shropshire.
This picture was taken in February 1965 in and around Tilstock, where the snow was causing huge disruption.
The picture shows an unnamed woman surveying her snowbound yard and has been lent to us by Tony Nevill, of Egerton Road, Whitchurch.
Do these bring back some wintry memories for you? Do you have pictures of your own you wish to share with us?
