Chester Memories: It's time to party at A Bit Of A Do exhibition
AN EXHIBITION that celebrates the good times in Chester life will take place next month.
The exhibition, entitled A Bit Of A Do, takes place at St Michael's History and Heritage Centre on Bridge Street.
The photographic images allow visitors to step back in time and bring back memories.
Cestrians can come and identify their family, friends, colleagues and even themselves from their past at both work and play as the photos show celebrations, gatherings and social outings attended over the years.
The exhibition has been set up by curator Elaine Pierce Jones, who said: "We have devised the exhibition because we know how much the visitors love to see images from their past bringing back happy memories."
"The photographs in the exhibition have been very kindly brought in by people wanting to share their good memories.
"I am very grateful for all the pictures and I would love any more so we could take a copy. All pictures will be carefully returned in a good condition."
The exhibition is being shown from August 3 until October 10.
The picture shows the Halloween Dance at Chester College, Eaton Road, in 1980.
