Chester Memories: City's heritage brought to book
HISTORIANS and nature lovers will be treated to a series of drawings of some of Chester's oldest and most famous buildings as Black's Sketchbooks re-release its collection.
Originally published during the 20th century, each book features elegant sketches of locations throughout Britain including The English Lakes, The Thames and Chester.
Presented in its authentic cloth binding, the Chester book takes history-lovers on a journey through the city's landmarks as they were back in 1920, with sketches of the cathedral, the town hall and castle.
The books are priced at £6.99 and can be ordered directly from www.acblack.com.
