Cheshire Memories: Lewis Caroll Society in Daresbury announce new Alice
THE LEWIS Carroll Society in Daresbury has announced the name of its new official Alice.
Georgia Faulke, 10, of Moore Primary School, will take over the responsibility from present incumbent Charlotte Theis.
The keen dancer attends Footloose classes in Sandymoor, Runcorn, and says she cannot wait to take up the role.
The Lewis Carroll Society was formed in 1969 to encourage research into the life and works of the eponymous Daresbury-born author, who wrote the classic Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
Anyone interested in joining the society can call Ken Oultram on 01606 891303.
The picture shows last year's Alice, Charlotte Theis, who will hand over to Georgia Faulke.
