Low Carbon: Organisations rewarded by Air Quality Forum
Low Carbon Blog: ORGANISATIONS have been recognised for their contribution to improved air quality in the Ellesmere Port and Neston borough.
Four schools, one charity, one voluntary organisation and three businesses were honoured during an awards evening at the Civic Hall held by Ellesmere Port and Neston Air Quality Forum.
They were each given an Airwatch award in honour of their achievements.
Borough mayor Keith Butcher, who presented the awards, said: "I am delighted to see so many within the community, particularly our children, doing so much to improve local air quality.
"Everyone's contribution however small, combines together to make a big difference to our community."
