Low Carbon: Halton Millennium Green Trust invites people to Runcorn fun day
HALTON Village Millennium Green Trust will host a free Fun Day on Saturday from 1-5pm.
The trust, which was formed as a charity by residents 11 years ago to maintain and develop the field in Spark Lane for current and future generations, will provide a day of activities including fairground rides.
Pauline Riley, secretary of Halton Village Green Millennium Trust Action Group, which has organised the seventh annual event, said: "The fun day is extremely popular with children and adults alike.
She added: "The Fun Day is organised to help to promote and maintain the green for people of all ages to enjoy all year round."
