Low Carbon: It's Tree O'Clock at Ysgol Bryn Gwalia in Mold
PUPILS in the eco-committee at Ysgol Bryn Gwalia, Mold, have taken part in a nationwide challenge to plant more trees.
The 12 pupils aged seven to 11-years-old planted 12 trees in an hour as part of National Tree Week's 'Tree O'Clock' challenge.
Teacher Helen Walsh, said: "The children loved it, they planted the trees in our eco garden.
"We were given 12 saplings for free from Focus in Chester, as well as a free Christmas tree, which was generous of them.
"We're planting cherry, hawthorn, hazel and rowan. The children were really enthusiastic about it and can't wait to watch them grow!"
